The autopsy reports are in for Paul walker, it's sad to say he was still alive after the collision, both him and his passenger burned to death.... to those douchebags in the bmw to scared to rescue then while they burned to death, fuck you... r.i.p

Okay.....So let's say a car is burning in front of you, will you jump into the fire NO MATTER WHAT? Whether it was a celebrity or not.

I can tell you flat out and honestly, unless it was a family member I would not be able to do that.

Yeah it's sad that he died. But this is why you should not drive like an asshate, professional or not, a car like that will turn on you like a mother in law.

Also, to the people posting a quote saying "Don't cry if speed killed me, I was smiling" I will put every penny I have on he was absolutely terrified sliding across the pavement and into a tree. No matter who you are you would scream like a little girl.

David Purlee didn't jump into Roger Williamson's fire and he had a retardant suit on. He was able to do a lot, but in the end STILL couldn't save him.

This moron thinks two people in street clothes are going to be able to risk their lives in a fire?

Exactly....

People agree with him too.....It's fucked up.

I bet if you asked them to jump in a car and save someone who was not famous and they didn't know they would puss out....

Tell him to put his had close to the barbecue grill, and leave it there for 1 minute.
So that he gets an idea of what a big fire can feel like.

I don't think even that will get it across, he seems to thick to understand the concept of fire hot.

I once witnessed a car go off a highway and roll three times before landing on its roof. As I pulled my car over and ran down to help, I remember thinking VERY clearly "OH, FUCK. What am I gonna do when I get down there and there is blood everywhere? I'm gonna puke on everything."

Luckily, there was no blood, just an unconscious driver and what I thought was smoke in the cabin was just from the air bag ignitor, so I was able to bust the window out and help the driver until the paramedics arrived. If the car was on fire (especially an inferno like the Porsche looked like), I am nearly 100% positive I would not be able to bring myself to jump into that situation.

If I saw someone crash the most I would do is pull over and check them out, make sure they are okay, make sure they are alive, call 911 and let them help the person out of the car.

I would hate to risk then getting hurt worse.

If I noticed the car starting to catch I would pull them out.

I help people all the time, no matter what, but I'm not going to risk worsening injuries when not necessary.

Good on you for helping them though. It always comes back around.

I completely agree with you, but the last thing I would have done was pull out my phone and video this for instagram, yo. That dissapoints me.

It's just so sad that they did that. My phone is very heavy (otterbox+iPhone 4) and I always know it's in my pocket. If i saw a crash like this I would forget I'm in possession of a phone, right after I called 911. Video wouldn't even come to mind! Even if I was just standing there and not wanting to go near the car I still wouldn't video.

A lot of people just sit there waiting for the next thing to record though, that is their life, recording incidents of the less fortunate.

Shit. Walker will now be a F&F fanboy martyr... or he'll be sainted by the Pope of PepBoys. And few will recall the name of the dude driving. I've witnessed car crashes firsthand, and have stopped to assist in getting people pulled out of an overturned van on one occasion. Scan quickly for smoke/flame - if none, consider diving in to help. Don't move those that are unconscious unless there is smoke/fire.

You'd be amazed at what you'll do & what you're capable of in time of need.

I remember his first name, not the last. Roger (Rodas?)

People do cloud that 2 people were in the car, I know I kinda did that but I did mention a professional driver, and Roger was a racing car driver, so that qualifies.
